CLAs

The collective labor agreements of the independent trade union WWLU.

As an independent trade union, the WWLU enters into CLAs with employers’ organisations. This mainly concerns collective agreements associated with company, branch, national and cross-border employees.

CLA for Inland shipping

The WWLU concluded a draft agreement with an inland shipping industry association. The main thread of the agreement is the terms and conditions of employment for third-country nationals who work in Europe as apprentice sailors, sailors, full sailors and mates in the inland shipping industry throughout Europe.

Fisheries CLA

The WWLU has concluded an agreement in principle with a sea fishing trade association. This mainly concerns the terms and conditions of employment for third-country nationals who work as sea fishermen in Germany and the Netherlands.

Temporary employment CLA

The WWLU has concluded an agreement in principle with a trade association of the temporary employment sector. The aim is to compile a CLA that can be applied in several European countries. Special attention is also being given to third-country nationals working in Europe.

We are currently negotiating the correct interpretation of this CLA and intend for it to be concluded for a period of 5 years, after which it will be tacitly extended by one year at a time.

Furthermore the principle agreement of the CLA has been presented to our members.
